We are privileged to own one of the best and most special grape varieties in the world: the Monastrell, which was first cultivated in our area a longtime ago. It presents compact clusters with small grains, covered with thick grapeskins. It is a low-production variety, perfectly addapted to our dry climate, which presents a very low rainfalls level during all the year. It produces well-bodied, expresive and purple-colored wines, whose fruitosity, softness and roundness are difficult to overcome.
